Beautiful field set ready to mount on a mannequin. The kit comprises:
1. M43 cap. Nicely marked, dated and sized to the famous Desfosses uniform maker from Paris who made tons of kit for the Germans from 1940 to 1944. Nice variation with late war dish buttons, as used on pants and ponchos. No damage and stunning markings.
2. M43 tunic. Arm eagle is the embroidered style for enlisted, a much rarer eagle than the usual BeVo. Shoulder boards are for a basic sergeant. Tunic has great maker, size and issue markings but it does have scattered moth holes all over. Sounds worse than it is once on a mannequin. The eye on the collar is broken but the hook is fine. Not distracting and easy to replace. Dated 1943
3. Breaches have great maker, size and issue markings and are dated 1942. A few moth holes and a repair on the seat area.
4. Belt is the BROWN variation for police and has the special catch, unique to police. Catch is maker marked. It is a nice 100 size. One hole about in the middle, so not visible when on a mannequin. Buckle is the large swastika variation type from R.S. & S. with its leather tab dated 1938 and it shows normal use.
